The Molly Huggins Foundation will fundraise and invest with communities that experience multiple challenges, helping them to look forward to a better future.

By working with local organisations and with people who have first-hand experience of critical issues, such as safety, health, and financial wellbeing, we will gain a deeper understanding. That will help us to build on MTVH’s achievements, using its anchor role to become a long-term force in making a meaningful impact.

Engaging with residents – and building that engagement over time – ensures the things we invest in make a real difference. The Molly Huggins Foundation will use a continuous cycle to test, learn from and grow long-term solutions through grassroots organisations.

This will include creating and building the capacity of resident-led action. It will mean investing continuously in Community Hubs – needed more now than ever as places for safety, sport, and access to services, particularly in communities that have seen significant public sector funding cuts.

Building on MTVH track record

The Foundation is renewing and consolidating the huge investment MTVH has already made in our communities – operating ten community hubs, and combining its own funds with fundraising from trusts, foundations, and statutory partners to grow services and opportunities in areas experiencing deprivation. A total cash and in-kind investment of £1.6m was made in 2023/24 alone. By connecting the dots between funders, statutory partners, grassroots organisations, and residents, the Foundation will do even more.
