Whether it is when people first move into a community, or when life becomes challenging, we are here to help those in social and affordable housing stay safe, well, and financially resilient.
MTVH already works hard to tackle the inequalities linked to homelessness and poor quality of life. In 2023/24, the MTVH team responded to over 3,000 residents with personalised support and money advice from qualified advisors.
To help avoid crises, we also connect residents with local organisations, statutory services, and our partners. Partners like Derby City Mission – or Pocket Power, where every £1 invested results in £13 saved for residents. With this support, residents gained £3m of increased income. Beyond this, we have also helped hundreds of residents build their skills and find decent work.
Looking forward to doing more
The Molly Huggins Foundation will build on everything that has been achieved by MTVH, helping more people every year. Our ambition is to keep growing our positive impact over the long-term, responding not only to residents who are in financial crisis but by helping people and communities build on their strengths, whoever they are.
